College of Education

Campaign Priorities

With state-of-the-art facilities in place, the College of Education has the opportunity to prepare graduates for the future. Your support will help assure that the College of Education continues to develop effective, ethical educators with a passion for learning. Gifts to the College of Education will enhance the overall experience by providing:

  • Endowment funds to support research, teaching and outreach efforts of the Alice S. Neeley Special Education Institute and the Center for Urban Education.
  • Endowment funds for the Starpoint and KinderFrogs schools to allow them to continue their groundbreaking work in special education with aspiring educators and children with special needs and to provide scholarships for students.
  • Endowment funds for international student teaching in Mexico, Canada and several European countries. These experiences strengthen our graduates’ abilities to work with children from different cultures and to teach second language learners. Many education students from other countries also come to TCU to further their studies and broaden their experiences.
  • Additional funding that will allow students in the colleges' growing graduate and doctoral programs to receive financial support as well as create operational funds for the programs offered.
  • Scholarship support for undergraduate programs, particularly in areas of critical need like science, mathematics, special education and English as a Second Language. These funds give students the resources they need to receive a high quality education and become successful teachers.
