A Message from Chancellor Victor J. Boschini, Jr.

The Campaign for TCU has made one thing perfectly clear. Individually we contribute. Together we transform. The campaign raised $434 million — $184 million above the original goal. All those resources have been directed toward a single vision: To create a world-class, values-centered university experience for our students.

With this report, we want to say thank you and to demonstrate that your generous gifts have been well-invested. Several years ago, we outlined what "Tomorrow's TCU" would be like. "Tomorrow" has become today, and throughout this report, we would like you to see what a successful campaign did for our university.

On the following pages you'll see what we promised and what you enabled us to deliver.

There are no words to adequately express our appreciation!

Victor J. Boschini, Jr.
Chancellor

Matthew K. Rose, Campaign Chair

As the parent of two young Horned Frog alumni, I saw firsthand how my son and daughter benefited from TCU's world-class, values-centered university experience.

Let's look at a few of TCU's recent major achievements:

  • Applications that have grown by 120 percent since 2006
  • A student-faculty ratio of about 13:1
  • Ranking among U.S. News & World Report's top 100 national universities
  • A Bloomberg Businessweek listing at No. 28 out of 1,400 best undergraduate business schools
  • Recognition for two consecutive years as one of The Chronicle of Higher Education Great Colleges to Work For

Now let's look at what has fueled that success:

  • $434 million directed to TCU priorities
  • 600,000 square feet of new facility space, including 26 new or extensively renovated facilities
  • About $42 million for academic programs such as the Andrews Institute for Mathematics & Science Education and the Institute of Child Development
  • $108.7 million in new scholarship support
  • Some 200 new endowed scholarships
  • Thirteen new endowed faculty positions and $25 million for faculty support

No wonder U.S. News & World Report recognized TCU as a Top 20 "up-and-coming" university.

You made it happen. Thank you.

Today we are the proudest of our alma mater that we have ever been. The Campaign for TCU has elevated the University in ways we would never have thought possible even a few brief years ago.
